Legendary Italian tenor singer Andrea Bocelli has recruited a bunch of A-list stars to join him on his forthcoming Duets album. The first single from the record is a duet between Bocelli and country superstar Shania Twain that was released on July 12, with the two artists singing together on, “Da Stanotte in Poi (From This Moment On),” a classical reworking of Twain’s 1998 hit. Duets is set to be released on October 25, and will feature Bocelli’s vocal collaborations with Chris Stapleton, Gwen Stefani, Marc Anthony, Karol G, Sofia Carson, Lauren Daigle, Elisa, Matteo Bocelli, and Hans Zimmer.
“To mix voices, mix the vibrations, is for me a very exciting experience, sensual and spiritual at the same time,” says Andrea in a statement about Duets. “Something intimate and deep is established between the two voices that sing a duet. We singers are in constant search of colleagues able to give life to this alchemy.” (People)
