After being forced to cancel their last tour together due to Lauryn Hill’s vocal issues, the Fugees and Hill have just announced a new 21-date joint tour. The co-headlining trek is a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Billboard No. 1 album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which was just voted as the Number One album of all-time by Apple Music. The shows will also heavily feature tracks from Fugees’ No. 1 album, The Score. Hill’s son YG Marley, whom she shares with Rohan Marley, will be the support act for the tour.
The Miseducation Anniversary Tour launches on August 9 in Tampa, Florida, before hitting major markets throughout the United States. The trek winds down on October 22 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. According to the press release, $2 from each ticket sold will be donated to the MLH fund, which benefits mental health resources, women’s wellness, small business development, and education.
