Coldplay Announce Release Date Of Their New Album, ‘Moon Music’

Coldplay have shared the release date of their 10th studio album, Moon Music, which will arrive on October 4. The Grammy-winning quartet from London worked with celebrated producer Max Martin on their new album. The lead single from Moon Music will be “feelslikeimfallinginlove,” which will be released this coming Friday, June 21. For the physical copies of Moon Music, Coldplay have “gone to great lengths” to ensure that the release is eco-friendly and “as sustainable as possible.”

Each LP will contain what amounts to nine recycled PET-plastic bottles recovered from post-consumer waste, and the band claims that the CD version of Moon Music will be the “world’s first” to be released on EcoCD, which are created from 90% recycled polycarbonate, which will also be sourced from post-consumer waste. Moon Music is a thematic continuation of 2021’s Music of the Spheres, which was also produced by Max Martin. (Billboard)
