A federal indictment has been filed against an Arizona man who allegedly planned a mass shooting at a recent Bad Bunny show in Atlanta, hoping to incite a race war ahead of the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Following a lengthy investigation, Mark Adams Prieto was indicted by a federal grand jury on Tuesday on charges of firearms trafficking, transfer of a firearm for use in a hate crime, and possession of an unregistered firearm. Prieto was arrested on May 14th, and was in possession of seven firearms at the time. He has admitted to discussing his mass shooting plot with an undercover FBI agent, in addition to selling a firearm for potential use in the attack. Each charge of firearms trafficking and transfer of a firearm for use in a hate crime carries with it a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison. (Consequence of Sound)
